2015 is the beginning of Annemarie’s third year as a FMS lay missioner, and we could not be more proud. The work that she has done with the agriculture of the community in Cochabambato to help create sustainable sources of food and income, along with the passion she puts into it, is truly remarkable. We pray for you every day and wish you the best as you continue to serve the community of Cochabamba.

Recent events: “I recently started my own garden outside of our apartment where Jeff and I live. I also traveled to another part of the country with friends to tend to a plot of potatoes that they had planted a few months back. While the rainy season has begun, we continue with serious shortages of water in our work.”

Biggest highlight: “Accompanying my working team as we hired three Bolivians from the local community to join our team. It was a big move towards the long term sustainability of our work.”

Changes for next year: “I pray to grow in humility and availability to my community.”
