Assist with the advocacy efforts of FAN on issues such as racial justice, the climate, migration, democracy and voting rights, economic justice, etc. Use your passion for social justice to gain hands-on experience in advocacy work, including making calls or visits to government or congressional offices, assisting with communications outreach and events, and building/maintaining FAN partnerships nationwide.
Case Management Assistant

Develop your skills in the field of social services alongside a devoted team supporting men experiencing homelessness. Accompany patients to case management appointments. Advocate for clients' timely receipt of benefits such as Medicaid and Social Security along with support from other government and community agencies. Coordinate activities for clients to assist recovery and build community.

Protection Counselor

Assist asylum seekers that reach out to the UNHCR Washington Regional Office through emails, letters, and voicemails. Respond to inquiries about global individual resettlement cases from US law firms, congressional offices, resettlement agencies, and NGOs. Report trends in challenges faced by asylum seekers and refugees to the wider Protection and Solution Unit. Supervise full-time interns.
