FMS Return Missioner Professes Solemn Vows

DSC_1796

On August 21, 2010, FMS staff and members of the Franciscan family gathered for the celebration of the Rite of Solemn Profession for Return Missioner, Paul O’Keeffe, OFM, and three other friars (Brothers Cidouane Joseph, OFM; Robert Lentz, OFM; and Erick Lopez, OFM). During the solemn vows ceremony and multilingual mass, Brother Paul expressed his commitment to live as a Franciscan in the rule and life of the Order of Friars Minor. By making the profession, he shared his vocation “to follow in the footsteps of Christ all the days of his life” with the congregation, family and friends.

As a missioner for FMS, Br. Paul traveled overseas to serve in Kenya in 1996. Since then, he has continued in mission both internationally and locally.

Below are pictures of Br. Paul O’Keeffe, OFM with friends, family, and fellow friars following the celebration of the Rite of Solemn Profession.
