Happy two year anniversary to Jeff!
Editor’s Note: Also pictured in the featured photo is fellow FMS class 28 lay missioner Annemarie Barrett.
Jeff Sved is beginning his third year serving in Bolivia this January. Working with many prisons in the Cochabamba area to ensure the inmates are receiving spiritual guidance and materials to make goods to sell for an income, Jeff offers whatever help he can to better serve his ministries. Please keep Jeff in your prayers as he continues to serve abroad. May the Holy Spirit guide him throughout his work.
Highlight from year 2: “Spending Christmas Eve in San Antonio was pretty special (blog post on the evening to follow).”
Changes for year 3: “I want to continue to be present to those who live in the prisons and their families, as we all adapt to and struggle with the many changes. Some days this means hanging out in the visiting line outside the prison on a non-visiting-day and spending time with them as they wait for possible permission to pass food through the door to their husbands/brothers/boyfriends.”
